Redefining home through a personal and intimate lens
For us and our clients, conventional wisdom is a starting point, not the end destination. How do you live? What does daily life look like? What is essential and what is unnecessary? Core to our approach is learning how our clients define living in order to sculpt the perfect space that fulfills their way of life.
OUR WORK
Finding inspiration
Inspiration crops up from the unlikeliest of places and combinations: a gunmetal hinge and industrial iron ore pieces, reclaimed barn floors and intricate molding, gas-fired fixtures that evoke intimate if not simpler times, even the colors of brush and the textures that age enforces.
We pull inspiration from the land, including the raw elements that are painstakingly extracted from it. We marvel in nature’s fragile balancing act, respecting her constant ebb and flow, which often influences our decisions about architectural placement and form. Natural materials, from slate and stone to hardwoods and flora, are intentionally employed to bring the outside in, while we incorporate new ways to integrate indoor luxuries to open air environments.
